Maori Wardens provide a number of specialist services to the community generally on a voluntary basis, which can include:
- Crowd Control
- Traffic Management
- Safety Patrols Event Management Advisory
- General Security Patrolling
- Marae duties as required and protocol information
- Education seminars on the role of Maori Warden
- Other duties as outlined in section 30-35 of the
Maori Community Development Act 1962
The organisation has a governance arm responsible for policies and overall strategic direction and an operational arm who is reponsible for the management
